SUPPORT THOSE THAT SUPPORT YOUR CLUB
Since stepping foot in "The Coolest Small Town" of Cooke City in 1999 I had always "Dreamed" of living in Cooke City. I was born and raised in West Virginia so I was afraid that moving West was just a whim. In May of 2009 I made that dream a reality as my husband Jeff and I purchased the Elk Horn Lodge. I am also a licensed Realtor with Montana Realty in Cooke City. I am a board of director on the Colter Pass, Cooke City, Silver Gate Chamber of Commerce. I am also a board of director on the Upper Yellowstone Snowmobile Club.
I am also a member of the Cooke City Search and Rescue. I think it’s important that you make time to give back to your community! Jeff and I are the parents of a daughter who lives in Washington DC. I enjoy backpacking, camping, skiing, reading, traveling and cooking. I look forward to working with our new leadership in the Snowmobile Club.
Hello, I am Jess Carter I am owner and operator of Extreme Realities Design. In 2017 I followed my love for snowmobiling and made a career out of that passion. I took my hobby of design to a full-time job and opened up my own custom graphic and print shop, specializing in powersports designs, decals, and wraps. I started coming to Cooke City MT almost every weekend in the winter around 2011. Cooke City, Montana has always felt like home away from home to me. I was raised in the Northwestern corner of Montana and the 406 will always have palace in my heart, even know I call Wyoming home now. In the off season when I am not playing in the snow you will find me out enjoying the great outdoors with my family. I am truly looking forward to working with the Upper Yellowstone Snowmobile Club and its members as a new director.
It's a safe gamble that the word "pioneer" will find its way into any description of Aaron Mulkey (aka Coldfear). Whether he's in his backyard in the Wyoming/Montana region he calls home (where he's established nearly 300 first ice climbing ascents) or in some isolated backcountry around the globe, big mileage hikes and multi-day scouting missions to find unclimbed ice falls or first descents on a river keep him up at night and get him going in the morning. Mulkey and his wife, Kelly, live in Cooke City because of their love for winter recreation. They have one of the unique homes in Cooke City that is accessible only by snowmobile in the winter. Mulkey spends his winters snowmobiling, skiing and ice climbing the mountains of Wyoming and Montana. The snowmobile club is a great way to stay active in the community during the winter. Check out @coldfear on Instagram and Facebook to know more about him.
